Southern Star Observation Wheel to spin again

The Southern Star Observation Wheel in Melbourne, Australia is reportedly set to reopen this year, four years after shutting down in January 2009 after cracks were found in the structure just forty days after opening to the public.The wheel has since been taken apart and rebuilt.

    Splendid photos, jams. I relaly like ferris wheels. Unfortunately, the last time I rode one was in 1998, on a birthday-ending-in-zero. But it was a good one, the one on the Navy Pier in Chicago. The view of the city was magnificent. Stella would not join me; she’s afraid of heights… though curiously enough, not afraid of flying.Someday, if I live long enough, I shall try the London Eye.
